The SCOAN Sunday Service: The SCOAN Choir
When they considered how far the Lord had been with them, congregants acknowledged that it could only have been God, whose mercy endures forever.
They recalled the words of Lamentations 3:22-23 – “Through the Lord’s mercies we are not consumed, Because His compassions fail not.
They are new every morning; Great is Your faithfulness.” As such, they started the service with moments of prayerful meditation. Then they launched into the worship session, with song after song telling of the Lord’s goodness and pledging their commitment to His ways.
They sang: “With Thanksgiving/I’ll Be A Living Sanctuary For You!” As the instruments of worship took over the auditorium and the people’s voices filled the air, Heaven rejoiced because the people understood that the Lord never changes.
Further, they announced their desperation for the Lord and declared sin’s power over them to be broken, closing with the words: “Here On Our Knees We Worship You!”

Divine Breakthrough For Bonny Kingdom’s House Of Halliday!
Chief Adiesigha of Bonny Kingdom’s House of Halliday shared his testimony of God’s spectacular work in his family.
Although I had not originally been a member of The Synagogue, I had been supportive of my wife’s membership. We were making progress in many ways, but something changed along the line.
We were losing contract opportunities at the last minute. My wife continued to pray, bringing me along every once in a while. Then in 2019 it fell to the Adiesighas’ family to produce the new head of the community.
The lot fell on me. My wife encouraged me to come to the church for prayer and to commit the process into God’s hand.
Then COVID-19 came and all of a sudden the tide turned against my family, which I had to go to court over the chieftaincy matter. The court proceedings took four years and I had no choice but to use the weapon in my hands – the Anointing Water.
While the case carried on, my family experienced a couple of strange things. In May 2023 I and three other family members escaped an inexplicable accident that could have been fatal.
We were saved by the anointing! In July 2024 the anointing also saved me from paralysis following a spiritual attack by an agama lizard. On 10 October 2024, the House of Halliday won the court case brought against me!
From then on, every subsequent legal obstacle placed in my way was overcome by the power of the anointing! Even more, we have been experiencing breakthroughs in business and corporate life.
His wife, Chief Ibinye, told of how her partnership with Emmanuel TV had transformed her career, propelling her to the level of director.
She urged others to have faith in God while using their spiritual items. Finally, speaking on Emmanuel TV Partnership and on trusting God, Chief Ibinye’s sister asserted thus: “There is God in The Synagogue.”
Victor Leg Swelling Hears God’s Voice!
One night, I saw a huge alligator in my dream. I had screamed in that dream but had promptly prayed with my wife when I awoke. I had a banging headache that morning and also noticed a swelling on my left leg.
As the days went by, the swelling increased, with my right leg also affected. Numerous tests were run on me, but nothing significant was found.
Doctors gave me several drugs after finding that my blood pressure had hit the roof. On September 5, 2025, things got to a critical point that made me think i might not survive another day.
Encouraged by my wife to wait for the Sunday Service of two days later, I prayed for God to spare my life.
On receiving prayer, Victor felt God’s power surge through him. From September 7, 2025, when I received prayer, the swelling started to reduce until it vanished completely.
Have absolute trust in God.
Adamson’s Severe Piles Eliminated For The Glory Of God!
Sometime in 2024, I discovered an uncomfortable itch in my bottom area. Later, I began to see blood in my stool. Doctors then advised me to stop eating certain foods.
I took so many injections. However, the situation wasn’t improving. It was later revealed to be a serious case of piles.
Two hospitals asked me to undergo surgery but I declined to have it. In faith, I came to The SCOAN for prayer on 14 September 2025.
As Pastor Evelyn Joshua prayed for me, I felt a cool sensation in my body. Within a few days, the source of the blood in my stool had vanished. Now I can sit comfortably and no longer expel blood.
Keep faith in God.
“My Life Has Changed,” Declares Philip Freed From Ancestral Bondage
In my younger days, I had been involved in ritual practices with my family. In later years, I went into a business that soon started to thrive.
Things changed after some time when I was seeing a strange old woman in my dreams. At one point, I was given something to eat in the dream.
Meanwhile, the old woman kept telling me to return to my roots and pay up my debt. Knowing that I needed God’s help, I came for the prayer of deliverance in The SCOAN.
After receiving prayer and ingesting the Anointing Water, I had felt a peppery sensation in my throat – a sign that my deliverance had indeed happened.
I come into a new life of glory. My debtors are now paying up and my cocoa farm is now blooming. My life has changed.

“My Joy Has Come,” Says Faith Freed From Marine World
Cornered by the Holy Spirit during the service of September 28, 2025, the demon disclosed that it had been trying to exact vengeance over Faith’s refusal to serve it.
I used to see pythons in my dream and my body used to shine anytime I swam, so I stopped swimming. During an uncle’s burial in the village, I was accosted by an old woman who revealed I had fallen into a river as a baby.
I promptly confirmed the story with my family, who told me I had simply floated during the incident. I then began to have dreams in which a strange man would try to give me a marriage ring, which I kept rejecting.
Subsequently, the man appeared to me and tried to suckle on my bosom. Although I rebuked the spirit, my marriage took a critical turn from then on and I had to leave the marriage with my little baby.
I was also troubled by the spirit of anger, which was an issue with many in my family. One day, I came across a video of Prophet TB Joshua on Emmanuel TV. Right then, I decided I had to make my way to The SCOAN for prayer.
After the Lord’s power fell upon me, I broke free from the hold of nightmares and the spirit of anger.

Finally, Deborah Breaks Into God’s Light!
During the deliverance session of the service of September 28, 2025, it also transpired that the demon had been responsible for the affliction of anger in Deborah’s life.
My siblings and I used to brandish dangerous objects when quarreling, as children. My father was supposed to have taken over as the custodian of the family idol. In those days, my words were so weighty and they came to pass anytime I uttered them.
On numerous occasions, I had exploded in anger at my parents, saying negative words in the process. One day I said something against a tailor who had failed to deliver my clothes in time.
The next time I saw the tailor he was limping! At another time, while two weeks due for my second child, I had beaten up one of my nieces so badly that she couldn’t explain where the energy had come from.
I knew I needed help so I bought books to teach me about anger management. The books didn’t work. However, I received counsel from my mother to come for the prayer of deliverance.
And to the glory of God, my life has changed for the better! The nightmares have disappeared, I sleep peacefully and I am now far more efficient at work now.
God has saved me. Her mother, Agnes, confirmed the change. “This is a new Deborah,” she declared.

Saved From The Spirit Of Anger!
On September 28, 2025, the demon in Sarah manifested for many minutes. Of course, it couldn’t have the last laugh, for the spirit of God expelled it. The following week, Sarah returned for her testimony.
I used to have nightmares from which I would scream so loudly that I would startle those around me. I also had anger issues that affected my work and relationships.
In school, I became known as ‘Anger Issue’ and I just wanted to be left alone, not wanting to be contacted by my family or neighbours.
At one point, I wanted to take my life. Before I could do so, however, a persistent friend guided me to The SCOAN.
Although the devil had tried to derail me during the service, God’s Spirit took control, expelling the demon forever.
Today, Sarah is all smiles, her heart full of peace. She urged others to speak out about their problems and to seek God’s help. Her father, David, confirmed his family’s previous issues while thanking God for saving them. Deborah’s other siblings, aunt and friend also confirmed the glorious change.
A Grandmother Sings Hallelujah!
I had been suffering from difficulty in walking for the last three years, when I had suddenly started feeling pain all over her body. I found it difficult to move my limbs, and it affected my ability to sleep and eat.
On September 28, 2025, I came to The SCOAN for prayer. As the anointing fell upon me, I witnessed the breath of vitality flow through me.
Since then, the song on my lips has been: “Hallelujah!”
Rely on God’s power.
A Glorious End To 32 Years Of Pain!
On September 28, 2025, Blessing, a Nigerian living in Sweden, had been experiencing difficulty in walking due to various causes.
It affected my work at a children’s café. Despite having taken a cocktail of drugs in my country of residence, I hadn’t felt better.
The problem had its origin in post-delivery complications 32 years back. Helping me to do things in the home was one of my daughters, who had had to sacrifice most of her time.
In faith, I came to The SCOAN, and the Lord heard my cry for help. Now I can walk freely, for the glory of God.
Her daughter confirmed the testimony and advised others to trust in God.

The SCOAN Sunday Service Sermon: Why are you Afraid?
Recalling the teachings of God’s servant Prophet TB Joshua, Evangelist James gave a sermon entitled “Why Are You Afraid?” He read from Romans 8:35-39, Isaiah 51:12-16 and Isaiah 44:1-8, among other illustrative passages.
He observed that many have been unable to progress in life because they got derailed by fear – fear of their “immediate situation” manifesting as loss, failure, poverty, false accusation, sickness and disease, and rejection. According to him, it is pointless hoping for a miracle when one has already given in to fear.
Evangelist James noted that believers are not to view their situation from the natural angle, since doing so leads to fear, worry and anxiety. A look of faith, he said, brings improvement while fear changes one’s focus, thus weakening one’s resolve, determination and willpower.
In his words, “Fear stops you from asking for forgiveness, afraid that mercy will not be offered.” With such a mindset, he continued, comes the error of forgetfulness, which makes the believer overlook God’s goodness in the past and His preparation of the believer for a better future to be obtained after periods of adversity.
The Assurance of God’s Control
Urging congregants to accept that some things may be outside their control, hence naturally leading to fear, the minister encouraged the people to rest in the assurance that nothing could ever be outside of God’s control, hence the need for total reliance on Him.
In his words: “God rules with perfect wisdom over all the circumstances and things that can make you afraid.” He therefore counselled the church to take advantage of their relationship with God while confronting life’s troubles.
In his closing words, Evangelist James noted thus: “You will stop being afraid when you rest in the fact that grace has connected you to the One who has overcome everything that could cause your heart to be troubled, and nothing can sever that connection.”
SCOAN Sunday Service Encouraging Word
Sharing wise counsel with the people, Pastor Evelyn Joshua cited bits of Scripture such as 1 Corinthians 3:16 and John 3:11 as she spoke on God’s grace overlooking the imperfections of the chosen.
She said, “The dwelling presence of Christ in your life will give you the power, wisdom, righteousness to move in the spirit realm.” The Woman of God therefore urged congregants to know God by learning His ways. She assured them, “With Christ in your life and you in Him, you will be an effective witness for Him.”
The SCOAN Sunday Service Prayer Line Section
Healing Session at The SCOAN Sunday Service
At the Prayer Line, the power of the Living God manifested in the various cases brought before the Throne Of Grace. Among these were difficulty in walking/breathing, drug/alcohol addiction, chronic piles, swollen belly, prostate enlargement, and nose bleeding. As Pastor Evelyn Joshua called on Jesus Christ, power as of old brought healing and deliverance to the people.
With faith in their hearts, pregnant women also presented their situation before God’s servant. Following a touch of divine cover, they claimed the promise in 2 Thessalonians 3:3 – “But the Lord is faithful. He will establish you and guard you against the evil one.”
For others, it was cases of epilepsy, mental disorder, kidney cancer, leg ulcers, bipolar disorder, and evil attacks. More than enough assurance for the people was God’s Word at Jeremiah 30:17—“But I will restore you to health and heal your wounds,’ declares the LORD, ‘because you are called an outcast, Zion for whom no one cares’.”
Laying Of Hands Session at The SCOAN Sunday Service
Inside the auditorium, the Spirit of God kept moving mightily as the woman of God and the Evangelists laid hands on the people, with invisible chains breaking, long-term battles ending and freedom being restored.
One-On-One Session at The SCOAN Sunday Service
In the One-On-One session, the authority of Jesus Christ spoke louder than any demonic voice, shutting out all noise from satan’s kingdom. Indeed, as the Bible says in Obadiah 1:17, “But on Mount Zion there shall be deliverance, and there shall be holiness.”
SCOAN Sunday Service Mass Prayer (October 5, 2025)
Pastor Evelyn Joshua
Reading from Mark 11:23-24 as she returned for the Mass Prayer session, Pastor Evelyn Joshua urged the people to ask in faith. “Father, anoint my heart, anoint my words,” she told them to request.
She prayed:
“We command all friends of darkness in your life to be exposed, in the name of Jesus! All spirits that kill, destroy – we command them to be exposed, in the name of Jesus! Every spirit that gives you nightmares – we command them to be exposed! Every night battle that denies you the gift of sleep – we command it to be broken, in the name of Jesus! Healing in your body, healing in your spirit, in the name of Jesus!”
Further, she told the people to declare:
“My head – reject poverty, reject failure, in the name of Jesus! My body, reject sickness, in the name of Jesus! Anything that will not allow me to testify to God’s goodness – I shake you off right now! My today’s limitations, challenges will be my tomorrow’s testimonies, in the name of Jesus! Lord Jesus Christ, keep me away from the path of the enemies. Lord Jesus Christ, surround me with good, joyful people! Satan, your plan to steal my joy has been uprooted, in the name of Jesus!”
Continuing the prayer session, the woman of God decreed:
“By the power of the Spoken Word, we command every mountain of pain, disappointment, failure, affliction to depart from your life, in the name of Jesus!” She closed thus: “By the power You used to call forth all things into existence – call forth the testimonies of Your children today, in the name of Jesus! Every yoke of delay, limitation – be freed, in the name of Jesus Christ!”
The SCOAN Sunday Service: The SCOAN Evangelists
Evangelist Chisom prayed: “All spirits operating in your life – unclean spirits, ancestral spirits, spirits from your father’s side, from your mother’s side, family idols – anywhere they are operating from: Out, by the fire of the Holy Ghost!”
Taking over, Evangelist Ope asked congregants to pray: “Whatever I might have eaten through dreams from the table of the enemy, causing me disease – anywhere you are: Out, in the name of Jesus!”
Evangelist James urged the church to pray: “Every hindrance, every barrier to my breakthrough – Out, by the fire of the Holy Ghost!”
The SCOAN Sunday Service: Prophet TB Joshua
In a Mass Prayer video, Prophet TB Joshua declared: “That affliction in your blood, kidneys, organs – leave my people! You evil spirit – your dominion be broken, in the name of Jesus! Whatever chain of satan that points to you – be broken! Every unpleasant situation – be broken, in the name of Jesus!”
SCOAN Sunday Service: The Grace
Pastor Evelyn Joshua tells the people to say: “Anything that will not allow me to testify to God’s goodness – I shake you off right now!” She prays: “By the power of the Spoken Word, we command every mountain of pain, disappointment, failure, affliction to depart from your life, in the name of Jesus!”
