The SCOAN Sunday Service: The SCOAN Choir
It was another thanksgiving session in God’s presence on August 31, 2025 during the SCOAN Sunday Service as congregants lifted up their voices to Heaven in The Synagogue. It was the very last day of the eight month of the people’s Forward-Looking Year.
As always, The SCOAN Sunday Service was a chance to reflect on God’s promises and infinite goodness. Recalling Lamentations 3:22-23 – “It is of the Lord’s mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not.
They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness” – the people declared, “Early In The morning/Our Song Shall Rise To Thee!” From then on, they moved from one worship song to the next, calling down Heaven’s presence into the atmosphere.
As they closed the worship session, congregants proclaimed: “You Are Beautiful Beyond Description/You Are Too Marvellous For Words/Too Wonderful For Comprehension!”

Eshiet Walks Freely Again!
For the last one year, I had been battling lumbar spondylosis. I spent a lot of money on drugs but got no relief. Taking my case to God, I had visited The SCOAN a week earlier for the prayer of healing.
Once the evangelist prayed for me, all the pain vanished.

Danlette Witnesses God’s Healing Power
It started 11 years ago, I had the problem of difficulty in walking, which I had first noticed in 2014. I had felt a sharp pain in my ankle as I slipped on my high-heeled shoes.
The pain started in my ankle, then progressed to my upper leg, and eventually to my lower back. I took various medications and began using a knee brace.
Certain that God would take control of my case, I came to The SCOAN for prayer on August 24, when an evangelist prayed for me.
I got up and started to walk again without any pain.

Destiny Restored As Addiction Ends!
Three years ago, I joined bad company at university in the southern part of Nigeria. All of a sudden, my friends and I decided we didn’t want to continue schooling. I came to Lagos, hoping to make tons of money like a celebrity musician.
However, I ended up on the streets of Lagos, helping well-known people watch their cars around nightclubs. Expectedly, I didn’t go far with that life, so I returned to base and became a nuisance to my family, having picked up the habit of drug use.
On learning about the situation, a family member asked that I should come to The SCOAN for prayer. To the glory of God, following an anointed touch, I received my deliverance on August 24. Today, I have returned to my senses.

“I Have Moved From Nobody To Somebody,” Queen Declares
On August 24, 2025, the ancient idols dwelling in Queen manifested following an anointed touch by one of the evangelists. A week later, she returned for her testimony in The Synagogue.
I came from an idol-worshipping background and the idol killed my mother and all of her siblings. The idol later turned on the next generation. The idol tormented me so much and made marriage virtually impossible for us in the family.
In my marriage to a Ghanaian, I witnessed so much domestic violence. We started hurting each other; at some point, I tried to kill myself so that my husband would get into trouble.
Eventually, my marriage became troubled and I returned to Nigeria, never wanting anything to do with my husband and children. Following a dream encounter with Pastor Evelyn Joshua, I decided to come to The SCOAN for prayer. But some people discouraged me from coming, however.
All the same, I managed to start following sermons and prayers by Prophet TB Joshua and Pastor Evelyn Joshua. Something started to change in me and I began to long for my children again.
I went back to Ghana, where I not only saw my children but also rediscovered my affection for my husband. To crown it all, I returned to The SCOAN for the prayer of deliverance.
Since then, I have broken free from depression and nightmares. Since my deliverance, I have had dreams confirming my deliverance from the idols of my mother’s households. To the glory of God, I no longer views myself as a person of disfavour but one favoured to excel.
The SCOAN Sunday Service Sermon: God Can Still Forgive You
For her sermon entitled “God Can Still Forgive You,” Evangelist Jemila read from John 3:16 and Romans 5:8. She began by assuring the church of God’s limitless and unconditional love for humankind regardless of their imperfections. The Evangelist urged the people to disregard satan’s voice, which always tries to condemn them. She asked rhetorically, “If God has to count iniquities and sins, who shall stand?”
The evangelist further explained that God’s anger is against sin, not the sinner; for this reason, she urged congregants to refuse to be shamed into worthlessness because of their numerous sins. In that regard, she referred to biblical heroes of faith who persisted in their walk with God.
The preacher therefore counselled the people not to give excuses for not repenting and to stop wallowing in self-pity. According to her, our sins and struggles with temptation are not unique (1 Corinthians 10:13).
In her closing words for the message, Evangelist Jemila stated that making Heaven is not about having lived a perfect life on earth. Heaven, she said, is “for those who have been forgiven and redeemed through the Blood of Jesus Christ.”
As such, Christians are not perfect people but forgiven ones. She therefore encouraged embracing Jesus Christ, whose loves never fails. Among the numerous passages for the sermon were 1 John 2:1-2, Galatians 6:7, 2 Samuel 12, and Romans 6:14-15.
SCOAN Sunday Service Encouraging Word
“May you be revived according to the mercy of God,” said Pastor Evelyn Joshua on joining the church for the Prayer Line ministration. Reading from Romans 1:18-21, Pastor Evelyn Joshua spoke to congregants on the need to embrace the abundant evidence of God’s power instead of believing the lie from satan. She noted that Adam and Eve erred in trusting satan, hence the fate of humankind today.
“When you believe in a lie, you empower a liar,” she noted. She therefore encouraged the people to have full faith in God’s promises. “Knowing the truth, believing in the truth, believing the way and walking in it – that is a miracle,” she explained.
Before proceeding to lay hands on the people, Pastor Evelyn Joshua prayed:
“Father Lord, we bless Your Holy name. Holy Spirit, we honour You. We give You all the adoration because You alone are worthy. Father Lord, we thank You for who You are. Thank You for the grace to speak Your word, to stand and testify of Your goodness. Almighty God, we commit our lives into Your hands. You are the Beginning and the End. Father Lord, accept all we bring to You today – our love, praise, words, prayers – and transform them to joyful celebration, in the name of Jesus Christ.”
The SCOAN Sunday Service Prayer Line
The woman of God then moved towards those waiting for prayer. As she prayed for those suffering from asthma, difficulty in walking, goitre and other issues, power from olden times descended into the midst of the people and brought instant ease to them.
For all the pregnant women present, efficacious prayer also cleared the path of their delivery from all encumbrances.
Next, the woman of God and the evangelists ministered prayer to those having mental disorder, hernia, enlarged prostate, epilepsy, piles, elbow dislocation, swollen body, fracture, rectum cancer, skin disease, cancer of the bladder, and swollen scrotum.
For these people it was clear that God’s mercy is freely available to those who believe.
In the general Laying Of Hands session, God’s Spirit took away every burden as the people exchanged their weakness for God’s strength, their sickness for His healing and their bondage for His freedom.
In the One-On-One session, as the evangelists declared fire in the name of Jesus Christ, every evil covenant was broken. Of a truth, at the mention of the name ‘Jesus’, every knee must bow!
SCOAN Sunday Service Mass Prayer (August 31, 2025)
Pastor Evelyn Joshua
“Get your mind prepared to receive; be ready for newness,” Pastor Evelyn Joshua told the people at the start of the Mass Prayer session.
She prayed:
“May God Almighty give you the grace to trust in Him, in the name of Jesus. I pray for you today: As you go through your dry season, may God Almighty continue to terminate your struggles, in the name of Jesus Christ. Every plan of the enemy to condemn you to the garden of failure, sickness – we remove that today, in the name of name of Jesus Christ.
Every seasonal problem in your life attacking your glory, destiny – we destroy them today, in the name of Jesus Christ!” The woman of God continued to pray: “Receive anointing – anointing for excellence, good health, success, in the name of Jesus Christ. Be delivered from anything that has kept you in bondage, stopped you from reaching your divine destiny! Be delivered from them today, in the name of Jesus Christ! Every sickness, affliction, setback, weakness – I say, ‘Be healed, in the name of Jesus Christ!’
Be saved, delivered, rescued, in the name of Jesus Christ. Be rescued from the giant in your life – known and unknown giants – be saved from their hands, in the name of Jesus Christ! You will continue to excel in the light of the Lord, in the name of Jesus, by the Blood of Jesus and by the power of the Holy Ghost!”
Pastor Evelyn Joshua continued:
“May your hands be anointed to defeat failure, in the name of Jesus! May your hands be anointed to do good things, in the name of Jesus Christ! May you be anointed for progress, in the name of Jesus Christ! Begin to take your breakthrough keys – key of success, joy, finances, career, in the name of Jesus!
Whatever you bind here shall be bound in Heaven. May your prayers receive anointing today, in the name of Jesus Christ! Victory in your home, job, family, marriage, health, in the name of Jesus! Be filled with the joy and the light of Jesus Christ. Be delivered, healed, in the name of Jesus Christ!”
The SCOAN Evangelists
Evangelist Ope asked the people to pray: “Every spirit holding me bound – anywhere you are: Out, by the fire of the Holy Ghost!”
Taking over, Evangelist Joseph charged the congregation to pray: “All manipulative spirits, all demonic spirits, messengers of satan, evil spirits, spirit of enchantment, spirit of wickedness – anywhere you are operating in my life: Out, in the name of Jesus Christ!”
Evangelist Chisom asked congregants to declare: “You spirit causing me sickness, infirmity, affliction – anywhere you are operating from: Out, in the name of Jesus!”
At his turn, Evangelist James asked the people to pray: “Any satanic chain holding my career, business, finances – be broken, in the name of Jesus!”
Prophet TB Joshua
In a Mass Prayer video, Prophet TB Joshua says to the people: “Say, ‘Lord, locate me in Your mercy. I am ready to be healed. With all my heart, I am ready to be saved. Locate me, Lord, in my heart.’ Be delivered, in the name of Jesus! Right now, your heart is telling you what you need to be delivered from.
I command that nightmare to leave your career – leave, in the name of Jesus! Whatever affliction troubling your life, career – come out! That problem in your health, receive solution, in the name of Jesus! Wherever that affliction is in your body, blood, fluids – receive solution, in the name of Jesus. You are healed, in the name of Jesus Christ!”
