The SCOAN Sunday Service: The SCOAN Choir
On August 24, 2025, congregants started the service with the prayer of forgiveness and an expression of gratitude to the King of Kings for the gift of yet another day. “Blessed Be The Name Of The Lord!” they declared alongside the choristers.
With God’s Word at Psalm 101:2-3 on their minds—“Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits – who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases”—they proclaimed: “Everything About You Is Great, O Lord!” They also asserted their redemption and freedom through the Son of God, who laid down His life on the Cross of Calvary.
Accordingly, they didn’t hold back in announcing: “In My Father’s House/There Is A Place For Me/I Am A Child Of God/Yes, I Am!” Indeed, the people didn’t wait for a reason to praise the Lord, knowing that their sheer existence is more than enough reason to glorify God’s name.
Truly, their sweet incense of worship ascended to Heaven, for many fell under the power of the anointing. And as they got ready for the sermon, they sang: “My Heart, Hear The Voice Of God/My Heart, Hear The Voice Of The Holy Spirit!”

Ifeoma Walks Freely Again!
On August 17, 2025, Ifeoma received prayer over difficulty in walking caused by lumbar spondylosis.
I woke up one morning to find my legs itching. A few days later, a wave of pain had washed over me, leaving me in tears. I called for help and my children rushed me to the hospital. I got numerous painkillers and a knee brace, with surgery also being suggested. The pain didn’t lessen, even when I went to Canada for treatment.
On my return journey home, in Addis Ababa, I found it difficult to move by myself. I had to be put in a wheelchair. For the last two years, in fact, I had to abandon my business. The moment I received prayer, I felt like I was receiving an intravenous injection.
Have faith in the Lord.
“I Am Sound Again!” Patience Declared
I had been experiencing severe back pain owing to the dislocation of a bone in my back. Virtually helpless, I had requested that my family members fly me to Lagos for The SCOAN Living Water Service held on August 8, 2025.
Once inside The Arena Of Liberty, I managed to make it to The SCOAN Altar of Prayer. I rolled on the altar, sending my petitions to God. When I got back up, I did so as a free person. I am sound again.
Trust in God.
“I Felt Something Click Into Place!” Patrick Declared
For three days, I took generous doses of pain-relief medications until I was diagnosed with lumbar spondylosis. The doctors said it was caused by the heavy equipment I had been lifting.
On discovering Emmanuel TV and seeing the testimonies of others, I decided that I deserve to enjoy the gift of a miracle.
As the evangelist touched me, I felt something click into place in my bones. Within seconds, I started to do the things I was unable to do before. I thanked God for His grace on The SCOAN.
Don’t run away from God.
An Ulcerous Buttock Sore Hears The Word Of God!
I had an ulcerous sore in my right buttock, which had developed after an injection. Although I had done everything to reduce the swelling, it persisted, causing me unbearable pain.
Sometimes it felt like an ant was biting me from within the swelling. By this time the sore had been oozing out smelly pus, wetting my clothing within minutes.
Unable to bear the pain and embarrassment anymore, I came to The SCOAN for prayer on January 7, 2024.
I felt instant relief as Pastor Evelyn Joshua prayed for me and ministered the Anointing Water on me. I continued praying and using the Anointing Water at home.
Within two weeks, the pain and pus vanished!
Her husband Austin confirmed the testimony, urging other men to stand by their wives in times of crisis.
No challenge is too big for God – bring it to Him.
He Strayed Into Drugs – But Prayer Restored Godwin!
I had strayed into drug use in my pursuit of wealth. I had asked a customer of mine to show me the way. The young man then took me to his place and introduced me to drugs to keep me awake at night. And that was because cyber fraud, which was his customer’s source of money, required staying up all night to engage with ‘clients’ in different time zones. For the last two years, I was addicted to hard drugs and was a threat to my family and community. In fact, my father got me arrested at some point.
However, my sister intervened and brought me to The SCOAN for prayer on August 17, 2025.
When Pastor Evelyn Joshua prayed for me, I felt like things were being deleted from my memory. Since that day, I lost all urge for hard drugs.

Patience Witnesses God’s Power On SCOAN Altar!
While returning from the market, I slipped and suffered a foot sprain. For a long while, I felt severe pain that prevented me from doing my daily duties.
Tired of ingesting medications that didn’t appear to be making a difference, I made my way to The SCOAN Living Water Service on August 8, 2025.
I had feared my bandaged foot would prevent me from accessing the service, but that wasn’t the case and today I’m healed.
Seek God over your problems.
Grandpa Daniel Freed From Pain!
I suffered a little-finger injury while cutting metal that threatened to become ulcerous. I used medications but they had offered no relief.
On August 3, 2025, I made his way to church. As the evangelist was praying for me, my body was vibrating and I was screaming. When he told me I was healed, all of the pain disappeared.
Seek God in a living church.
The SCOAN Sunday Service Sermon: Your Decision
“If it had not been for the Lord, who was on our side, the enemy would have swallowed us,” Evangelist James reminded the people as he got on The SCOAN pulpit for the sermon. He read from Deuteronomy 30:19 and gave his sermon title as “Your Decision”. Humankind, he noted, has free will, which allows us to make choices of various levels of significance. Life, therefore, is a product of decisions, which ultimately create events.
According to the evangelist, in the Garden of Eden, for instance, Adam and Eve made a decision that continues to affect humanity today. Daniel equally decided to stick with God rather than bow to intimidation from Jehovah’s enemies. Evangelist James also observed that Jesus Christ took the better decision while at Gethsemane, hence the blessing of salvation that we enjoy today. “Your decision does not only affect you; it also affects your descendants,” he said.
Moving on, Evangelist James reminded congregants about the need to feed their minds with only godly suggestions. Since God will not force us to do His will, he said, we have a duty to shun satan and his agents and to follow the path of obedience leading to righteousness. In that light, he urged the church to ignore the pressures of money, pleasure and other worldly possessions and to make only decisions that lead to the future they desire.
The Most Important Decision
As for the most important decision in life, Evangelist James said it would be to give one’s life to Jesus Christ, trusting Him as the Lord and Saviour, the Friend who never betrays us. He further affirmed: “To choose Christ is to choose life – life that is full and free.” Furthermore, Evangelist James urged Christians to accept the inevitability of challenges, knowing that God will see them through in the end. In his final words, he told congregants: “Remember He is God and you are not. He is a Father and you are but a child. He is a Shepherd and you are a straying sheep.”
SCOAN Sunday Service Encouraging word
When Evangelist Chisom joined congregants for the Prayer Line ministration, he assured them: “God Almighty is good all the time.”
The minister then moved to those at the Prayer Line to offer them words of assurance: “Our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ said to us, ‘Come to me all who are weary, all you who are sick, come with your burden and I will give you rest.’ Today you have come before Jesus. Our Lord Jesus Christ is just a moment away from you. Our Lord Jesus Christ is ready because He has come to heal, deliver, bless and save you. You have come, just believe and you will be blessed, healed, delivered, in Jesus’ name.”
True to the Word of God at Isaiah 53:5—“But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes we are healed.”
The SCOAN Sunday Service Prayer Line
The healing power in Jesus’ name came through for people with different health challenges. Among them were those experiencing difficulty in walking, fracture of the skull/legs, difficulty in breathing, asthma, and umbilical hernia. Among the prayer recipients were pregnant women with various challenges, including breech presentation and delayed delivery.
With The SCOAN Evangelists joining their faith to pray for the people, more power descended from Heaven into The Arena Of Liberty. And so, the people received not just relief but also full freedom from bleeding, nostril tumour, osteoarthritis, bipolar disorder, mental disorder, prostate enlargement, alcohol addiction, buttock cancer, skin disease, kidney failure, and difficulty in urinating, among others.
For others in the outer section of the Prayer Line, Jesus’ words in Matthew 11:28 were of full effect: “Come to Me, all you who labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.”
Returning inside the auditorium, the evangelists stood on the believer’s authority to minister prayers of healing, deliverance and breakthrough for the ultimate salvation of souls. In presenting their petitions, the people relied on Psalm 50:15: “Call upon Me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you, and you shall glorify Me.”
Finally, in the One-On-One session, confessions flowed and more deliverance happened as the name of Jesus Christ and the fire of the Holy Ghost were invoked.
SCOAN Sunday Service Mass Prayer (August 24, 2025)
The SCOAN Evangelists
When the Mass Prayer session started, Evangelist Joseph told the congregation, “It is time to open your heart to the Spirit of God.” He added, “Open your heart for the light of God to come in.” Evangelist Joseph then called the first prayer point: “All familiar spirits, contrary spirits, evil spirits, demonic spirits, spirit of manipulation, messengers of satan – we declare you wanted! By the fire of the Holy Ghost, we command you: Out!”
Firing the next salvo into satan’s kingdom, Evangelist Chisom asked the people to pray: “You contrary spirit, anywhere you are in my family, business, life – I command you in the name of Jesus: Out! You spirit from my father’s side, from my mother’s side, causing me disappointment – I order you out!”
Evangelist James took over, decreeing: “Every unclean spirit attacking your body, causing you sickness, causing you disease – Out!” He asked the people to pray: “You sickness in my body, in my bones, in my blood – my body is not your dwelling place. I command you in the name of Jesus: Out!”
Evangelist Ope asked congregants to pray: “Every spirit blocking my breakthrough from the mother’s side, from the father’s side – Out, by the fire of the Holy Ghost!”
Prophet TB Joshua
In a Mass Prayer video, Prophet TB Joshua declared: “Demons in your finances, career, health, marriage – come out, in the mighty name of Jesus! Wherever that disease is in your body – be removed, in the name of Jesus! Chain of disease, sickness – break, in the name of Jesus! Nightmares in your business, marriage, career, destiny – we come against you, in the name of Jesus!
The Grace
“This is a new you,” Evangelist Ope assures congregants after the Mass Prayer session. And the people return home TRANSFORMED! Thank You, Jesus!
