June 12th will ever be printed in the minds of so many Nigerians as the day that politics and democracy was beaten by rivalry, jealousy and opinion. It’s all about a man, known as M.K.O. Abiola who won the election hands down, but never spent one day as the president.
In 1992, M.K.O. met a strange man who prophesied this very occurrence. Below is an article taken from the publication ‘Faith Cometh’ that gives full details of how this encounter took place…
We at The TB Joshua Fan Club wish Pastor TB Joshua a happy 46th birthday!
The founder of the Synagogue, Church of All Nations (SCOAN), Prophet TB Joshua turns 46 on June 12th 2009.
TB Joshua was interviewed earlier this year by the prestigious Newswatch Magazine of Nigeria. He explained the reason for his passion for the poor and the basis of his relationship with world leaders… T.B. Joshua, general overseer of the Synagogue Church of All Nations, spoke to Chris Ajaero, assistant general editor, Kazeem Akintunde, senior associate […]
The founder and head of the Synagogue Church of All Nations, Prophet Temitope Joshua has witnessed remarkable changes in the last couple of years. His long robes and full beard have been replaced by designer shirts, suits and a well trimmed beard. But more importantly, he is no longer the clergy that journalists get for a chat anytime they desire. It took VINCENT AKANMODE and ADEOLA BALOGUN four days before he reluctantly granted an interview on such issues as his non-admission into the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria, his childhood and his relationship with the presidents of some African countries.
When serious injury threatened to end his rugby career, the tough Afrikaner, Jaco van der Westhuyzen, turned to the only man who could save him: a Nigerian faith healer
Well, there’s nothing spectacular about Prophet T.B Joshua. He is just like every other human being. But if there is any difference, it is the grace of God; the righteousness of God. It is a product of the grace of God. So, I am a product of the grace of God.
Prophet Temitope Balogun Joshua, founder of The Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN) was recently mentioned among the world’s leading faith healers by America’s TIME Magazine. He was also awarded the National Honour of Officer of the Order of the Federal Republic (OFR) by the government in recognition of his humanitarian activities. He spoke to TOPE TEMPLER OLAIYA at his church’s headquarters in Ikotun, Lagos on what the award means to him and why his church attracts high-profile visitors.
Many myths surround Prophet Temitope Joshua, the youthful General Overseer of The Synagogue, Church Of All Nations. When cynics are not raising questions about his source of supernatural powers, they are perpetually wondering what manner of man is he. Yet, the more people seek to unravel or spin stories about this enigma, the more confused they get.
But apart from the astounding miracles that unfurl in the church every day, critics also never cease wondering if the man actually has any marital life.
Yet, they sure know he is not a monk, even though like a monk, he is holed up in his religious commune, devoting his time and substance to prayer, solitude and contemplation. But today, we unveil that vital aspect of TB Joshua that you never knew or know very little about…
June 12 is also the birthday of a remarkable Nigerian, a man whose type graces this world once in an epoch. On June 12, this year, Temitope Balogun Joshua, Nigeria’s healing pastor, extraordinary preacher, prophet and humanitarian, turns a mere 46 earth years. But it is only God Almighty Himself (judging by the profundity and wisdom exhibited by Joshua) who can tell the real age of this prodigious man of God.
Prophet T.B. Joshua, founder and General Overseer of the Synagogue Church of All Nations, is an enigma of sorts. Over the decades, the 44-year-old, bearded “man of God”, as his followers fondly call him, has quietly, steadily lived by his conviction. His life as he revealed to Weekly Spectator in an exclusive interview, revolves around the propagation of the Word of God.
Heads of states, mostly from Africa, at different times have jettisoned protocols and dashed in to see a pastor in a Lagos suburb. They go to him to kneel, pray, learn and “seek the face of God”.
Newly elected president of Ghana, Prof. John Evans Atta Mills, narrates how Prophet TB Joshua of the Synagogue Church of All Nations, Ikotun, Lagos, predicted his victory.
A creature out of this world, a weird man in white suit appeared in a church in Lagos. An early morning rain and chill amplified his spooky presence. Bearded like Nebuchadnezzar and dressed in tailcoat like Don Juan and an English gentry, Professor Chukwudi Nathan Okeakpu sneaked into The Synagogue Church of All Nations in the Ikotun area of Lagos and tried to blow up the place but failed. The self-styled “professor”, occult master, astrologer extraordinaire, grand anti-Christ and Satan’s deputy got converted instead. Pitted before a superior force, he buckled and begged for forgiveness. After seeing the light, he confessed his sordid existence.
Of recent, Prophet Joshua has been the butt of renunciations and denunciations by some leading men of God in Nigeria, who questioned his authority and his authenticity as a man of God. Without any doubt, Joshua is an enigma wrapped in controversy. And it was our desire to unwrap this enigma that took us to The Synagogue, tucked away around the Ejigbo and Egbe axis of Lagos.
He is the founder of The Synagogue Church Of All Nations, and an unlikely guest on a football pitch. Yet Pastor TB Joshua created a surprise of some sort when he floated a soccer team recently. Complete Sports Saturday’s DAVID MESHIOYE in this interview tries to unravel the reason behind this, from the benevolent man of God.
