The SCOAN Sunday Service: The SCOAN Choir

The SCOAN Choir

The first Sunday of September 2026 was another opportunity for congregants at The SCOAN to gather in God’s presence with thanksgiving and expectation. Grateful for the gift of a new month, they committed the days ahead into God’s hands, asking Him to be their strength in difficult moments, make a way in seemingly impossible situations and cause His light to shine upon every area of their lives.

Turning their attention to the state of their hearts, congregants sought God’s mercy as they reflected on the assurance in 1 John 1:9 that He is faithful to forgive and cleanse those who confess their sins. Soon, voices rose across The Arena Of Liberty: “So Here I Am With All I Have/I Raise My Hands To Worship You/I Want To Say Thank You/Oh Thank You!”

As The SCOAN Choir continued ministering, worshippers placed their needs before God in faith. Their voices rang out again: “We Are Here Again/Lord We Are Here Again/Holy Ghost Come And Take Control.” With hands lifted and hearts focused on Jesus Christ, the congregation yielded themselves to the move of the Holy Spirit.

The worship session deepened with a declaration of absolute trust in the Master Healer: “And I Believe You’re My Healer/I Believe You Are All I Need/And I Believe You’re My Portion/I Believe You’re More Than Enough For Me!”

In gratitude for God’s mercy and favour, congregants continued to magnify His name, mindful of Prophet T.B. Joshua’s words: “When you acknowledge God for all He has done, He will do it again and again!”

Leg Ulcer Disappears After Encounter With God

Here is his testimony:

Kingsley had been suffering from a leg ulcer that started as a small sore. Thinking it was only a minor injury, he scratched the sore on his leg.

Over time, however, the sore worsened, spreading and producing foul-smelling pus. The condition became so embarrassing that whenever Kingsley went out in public, people would cover their noses because of the unpleasant odour from the ulcer.

Despite receiving medical treatment and making every effort to address the condition, the ulcer continued to fester. Kingsley then decided to seek God’s intervention at The Arena Of Liberty.

Kingsley said he received his healing when Pastor Evelyn Joshua prayed for him in the mighty name of Jesus.

Testifying on September 6, 2026, he displayed his leg and testified that the ulcer had dried up following the prayer.

Kingsley encouraged people facing difficult challenges to draw closer to God and seek His intervention, stressing the importance of turning to God in times of trouble.

Spirit Of Lust Bows To The Holy Spirit

Here is his testimony:

Augustine had been battling the spirit of lust after being involved in the consumption of sacrifices meant for a family idol.

As he grew older, he found himself masturbating most of the time and having nightmares in which he would either be fighting battles or trapped inside a cage.

He also struggled with the spirit of anger. Troubled by these experiences, Augustine underwent several prayer and fasting sessions, but the problems persisted.

One night, Augustine dreamt of himself dressed in rags and looking terribly tattered. In the dream, Prophet T.B. Joshua appeared to him, replaced the rags with a fine suit and advised him to visit The SCOAN for prayers.

Augustine subsequently made his way to The SCOAN, where an evangelist prayed for him in the mighty name of Jesus, and he received his deliverance.

Testifying on September 6, 2026, Augustine said that he no longer masturbates and that the spirit of lust has totally disappeared from his life.

She advised the people: “Run to God in times of trouble”.

Family Idol Neutralised By The Anointing

Here is her testimony:

Seyi had been grappling with the yoke of a family idol, a problem traced to certain fetish activities she was involved in as a child.

She would have strange dreams, which she always told her mother about. On one occasion, her mother told her that her naming ceremony had been performed in a shrine.

As Seyi grew older, she also discovered that she had a problem with anger. Along the line, she developed diabetes – the same disease that had claimed three of her aunties. Despite taking medication, her condition did not improve.

Seyi also struggled with her education and career, failing her exams on three occasions. At home, her anger affected her relationship with her husband, for whom she had no affection.

After delivering her second child, Seyi almost lost her life while the baby was not responding after coming out of her womb. Immediately she placed the Anointing Sticker on the baby; however, it became filled with life.

Her Path to Freedom In Christ

Seyi eventually made her way to The SCOAN, where an evangelist prayed for her at the Prayer Line and she received her deliverance.

Testifying on September 6, 2026, she said that the nightmares, anger and ill health had disappeared from her life. Her blood sugar had also returned to normal and peace had returned to her marriage.

Her husband thanked God for restoring peace and joy to their home.

She advised the people: “When you run out of hope, hold on to God.”

Jesus Lifts The Yoke Of Family Idol

Here is her testimony:

Rachel grew up believing that the people raising her were her biological parents. However, she later discovered that they were not.

When she began asking questions, Rachel learnt that the woman she had thought was her mother had adopted her after her biological mother died.

She was also told that her mother, who had only male children, had desperately wanted a female child and had consulted an herbalist, through whose help Rachel was conceived.

Wanting to know more about her biological father, Rachel was taken to his burial site. The reality of having lost both parents left her deeply saddened.

Her troubles intensified when her father’s family introduced her to idol worship. Nightmares and setbacks followed.

After moving from her father’s house to live with her elder brother, things became worse, leaving her with no progress and no peace.

Her Journey To Freedom

Rachel also became angry and violent, while her finances suffered as her business failed. After getting married, however, she met a neighbour, Emmanuel, whom she perceived to be a good and God-fearing person.

It was Emmanuel who eventually brought Rachel to The SCOAN for deliverance.

At the Prayer Line, an evangelist prayed for Rachel in the mighty name of Jesus, commanding the family idol to leave her life. “When the evangelist touched me, I couldn’t remember what happened to me. I only discovered that I felt light when I regained full consciousness,” she said.

Also testifying about Rachel’s deliverance, Emmanuel recounted how she had been tormented by the family idol and how he convinced her to seek the face of God at The Arena Of Liberty.

She advised the people: “There is nothing outside God; we should seek His face.”

God Restores Mrs Sunday’s Joy With A Baby Boy

Here is her testimony:

For eight years, Mrs Sunday had been trusting God for the fruit of the womb after experiencing a couple of miscarriages. The situation brought her pain and disappointment, leaving her depressed as people around her mocked her for her childlessness. Despite it all, however, she continued believing God for a miracle.

In 2024, Mrs Sunday made her way to The SCOAN and proceeded to the Prayer Line, where an evangelist prayed for her in the mighty name of Jesus.

She later conceived and gave birth to a baby boy, to the glory of God.

Testifying alongside her husband on September 6, 2026, Mrs Sunday thanked God for taking shame out of her life and blessing her with the fruit of the womb.

Holy Spirit Dries Up Leg Ulcer

Here is her testimony:

Nelly had been suffering from a leg ulcer that started in 2025 after she scratched her leg and noticed that the spot was turning into a sore.

She went to the hospital for medical evaluation and treatment, but the sore continued to fester. Someone later recommended herbal medicine to her, but it did not work as anticipated and the sore eventually developed into an ulcer.

As the condition worsened, Nelly became unable to walk or put on her shoes. Confused about what to do, she reached out to her sister, who advised her to come to The SCOAN for prayer.

Nelly eventually made her way to the church and proceeded to the Prayer Line, where an evangelist prayed for her.

“Three days after the prayer, the ulcer dried up. I can walk now. No more pain,” Nelly declared while testifying about her healing.

She advised the people: “In every situation you find yourself, run to God. With Him, all things are possible.”

SCOAN Sunday Service: The Covenant Of Blessings

LISTEN TO THE SERMON TITLED: The Covenant Of Blessings

For the sermon, Evangelist Ope took his place on The SCOAN Altar with a word of assurance: “Emmanuel! Indeed, God Almighty is with us. Fear not,” he declared. Asking, “Is there anything too hard for God to do?” he read from Numbers 6:24-26, Genesis 12:3, Genesis 20:1-18 and 1 Peter 2:9 before announcing his sermon title as “THE COVENANT OF BLESSINGS”.

Evangelist Ope reminded the congregation of God’s covenant of healing, deliverance, prosperity, protection, peace, salvation and blessings with the children of Israel. “When God Almighty makes a covenant to heal, He heals! A covenant to protect means He protects! And when He makes a covenant to deliver, He delivers! He does not promise and fail.” He stressed that God neither makes to break nor blesses to curse, for His covenant is unbreakable and stands from generation to generation.

Citing God’s covenants with Abraham, Moses, Joshua and David, Evangelist Ope highlighted His faithfulness through the generations. He also reminded the people of the covenant of mercy, healing, deliverance, prosperity and salvation at The SCOAN, urging them to exercise their faith in the anointing.

The evangelist further described God as precise, good, kind, loving and compassionate, stressing that His thoughts towards His children are good and not evil. He reminded the congregation that God cannot lie and His Word cannot return to Him void. “When He says you are blessed, you are blessed! When He says you are healed, you are healed. I know I am blessed and healed because God has said it! He cannot lie! His Word cannot return to Him void. His Words are pure and therefore sure!”

Concluding, Evangelist Ope urged the congregation to agree with God’s Word in their confession: “If God has said it, I can also say it! I will say what God says about me. God says I am blessed! I confess I am blessed! I am healed, delivered, prosperous, sanctified, all things are mine.”

The SCOAN Sunday Service: Prayerline Session (September 06, 2026)

Pastor Evelyn Joshua

On joining the congregation in the auditorium, Pastor Evelyn Joshua began with thanksgiving to God: “Father, we gather before You this morning, declaring Your sovereignty over everything. We have come to give You thanks. Thank You for Your love, goodness, divine healing, protection, provision, compassion, blessings, favour and mercy. Accept our thanks in the name of Jesus.

“Father, we come to declare that You and You alone are worthy of our worship and commitment. We ask You this morning, Father, help us to discover more of ourselves by letting Your Word be the standard of our being. Lord Almighty, lead us not into temptation but deliver us from all evil. In the name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.”

The woman of God then declared upon the congregation: “This is your month of testimony. You will testify to God’s goodness, in the name of Jesus Christ!”

Citing Psalm 103:2, Pastor Evelyn Joshua encouraged the people to remain mindful of God’s goodness regardless of their present circumstances. “No matter how life is treating you, and whatever circumstances or situations you find yourself in, don’t forget the benefits of God. It is only for a while. He who saved you in the past, healed you in the past, delivered you in the past, and led you to that great light is alive, and He will continue to be with you.”

Pastor Evelyn Joshua then proceeded to the Prayer Line, ministering prayers of healing, deliverance, breakthrough and restoration. Cases including leg ulcer, skin disease, difficulty in walking, inability to swallow, swollen belly, fire burn and swollen leg were presented before God as the woman of God and The SCOAN Evangelists ministered in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.

Expectant mothers and women seeking the fruit of the womb also received prayer as they looked to God in faith for their bundles of joy. Elsewhere at the Prayer Line, people with blurry vision, diabetes, stroke, high blood pressure, ovarian cancer, enlarged liver and foot ulcers received prayer in the name of Jesus Christ.

The SCOAN Evangelists

As Pastor Evelyn Joshua and The SCOAN Evangelists continued ministering, manifestations of the power of the Holy Spirit followed, with the sick and afflicted testifying about their freedom from longstanding infirmities. Indeed, the Prayer Line Session demonstrated once again the supremacy of God’s power over every stubborn and difficult case, for YAHWEH-RAPHA is the God who heals and delivers His people from trouble.
