The SCOAN Sunday Service: The SCOAN Choir

Glory be to God Almighty for the privilege of another day in His presence. The SCOAN Sunday Service of May 10, 2026, unfolded as another divine encounter in the Arena of Liberty, where hearts sought the face of God with humility, expectation, and unwavering faith in His power to save, heal, deliver, and restore.

The atmosphere from the very beginning carried the fragrance of Heaven as worshippers gathered from across nations to fellowship with the brethren in obedience to Hebrews 10:25.

With hearts lifted in penitence and hope, congregants approached the Throne of Grace seeking mercy, forgiveness, and divine intervention.

The SCOAN Sunday Service: The SCOAN Choir

Psalm 5:3 set the spiritual tone for the service: “My voice shalt thou hear in the morning, O Lord; in the morning will I direct my prayer unto thee, and will look up.” As those words echoed through the auditorium, faith arose and souls turned their gaze Heavenward.

The congregation was reminded that every new morning is an invitation into God’s unfailing mercy and abiding presence. Wherever people connected from around the world, many entered into quiet meditation and prayer, trusting the Holy Spirit to minister personally to them.

Hearkening to God’s Word in Psalm 59:16—“But I will sing of thy power; yea, I will sing aloud of thy mercy in the morning: for thou hast been my defence and refuge in the day of my trouble”—the people lifted their voices in worshipful meditation as The SCOAN Choir ushered the congregation into God’s presence.

An atmosphere of deep spiritual intimacy filled The SCOAN Auditorium as worshippers sang with total surrender.
The worship session became a holy moment of communion as burdens melted away before the presence of God. Voices rose with conviction while hearts yielded completely to the Spirit of God.

As the choir ministered under divine inspiration, the atmosphere became charged with faith and expectancy. Worshippers stretched forth their hands in prayer, asking for fresh anointing and divine visitation. Truly, God’s Spirit suffused the atmosphere and touched countless lives.

SCOAN Sunday Service: Know The Truth

LISTEN TO THE SERMON TITLED: Know The Truth

Evangelist Chisom mounted the altar with a stirring reminder: “We are here today because the focus was not broken.” Reading from Psalm 12:2 and John 8:32, he introduced the sermon titled “Know The Truth.”

From the outset, he warned against the danger of accepting opinions, rumours, and assumptions without examining them in the light of God’s Word. “Everyone is exposed to things that are not consistent with God’s Word,” he said. “That is why we must examine all things in the light of God’s Word.”

“Many have developed hatred towards a person, a place, an organisation based on what they have read, heard and what others told them without finding out the truth,” he said. “And this has led many out of their place of destiny, out of their destined relationship, destined marriage, destined job.”

Quoting Psalm 12:2, he stressed the importance of spiritual discernment: “Everyone lies to his neighbour. This means we should not arrive at a hasty conclusion about anything without knowing the truth.”

He further explained that believers possess the mind of Christ and therefore should not live by assumptions or emotional reactions. “In 1 Corinthians 2:16 the Bible says that, as Christians, we have the mind of Christ,” he explained. “And the mind of Christ is an independent mind — a mind that is determined to find out the truth from God.”

Evangelist Chisom declared emphatically that truth is not merely information but a Person — Jesus Christ Himself. “To know the truth is to know Jesus Christ,” he proclaimed. “And you cannot know Jesus Christ without knowing His Word. Christ and the Word are one.”

Jesus Christ Is The Truth

As the message deepened, he challenged believers to build intimacy with God through consistent meditation on Scripture. “The more you read the Word, the more you understand yourself and this God who created you,” he said. “You will know His opinion about you and others. The more you think about what you read, the more familiar you become with His voice.”

He lamented that many people are easily deceived because they do not know God’s opinion concerning their lives: “Many don’t understand themselves,” he said. “They don’t know God’s opinion about themselves and that is why they are easily deceived.”

In one of the most striking moments of the sermon, Evangelist Chisom declared: “Stop fighting the truth because truth does not lose the battle. No matter how long a lie is sustained, the truth will prevail.” Drawing from John 14:6, he reminded the congregation that Jesus Christ alone remains the ultimate standard of truth.

The Spirit Of Truth

Referencing John 16:13, he assured the church that the Holy Spirit guides sincere seekers into truth. “When you rely on Christ for the truth, He will give you the Spirit of truth that will guide you into all the truth.”

Evangelist Chisom also explained why satan constantly fights against truth. “One of the reasons satan does not want you to examine all things in the light of God’s Word is that he knows the truth will move you out of darkness into light, out of falsehood into truth.”

He cautioned believers against fear-driven decisions caused by misinformation and negative reports. “Many have died in their situations because they were afraid of going to a place of solution because of what they heard, read or what others told them,” he warned.

Drawing lessons from the Israelites in Numbers 13 and 14, he explained how fear and unbelief can rob people of destiny. “Many have left good relationships, good people, good organisations because of false information,” he continued.

“Rely only on Jesus Christ for the truth. He alone is the only Truth.”

In conclusion, Evangelist Chisom charged believers to remain agents of truth by continually examining all things through the lens of God’s Word. “To know the truth is to know Jesus Christ,” he concluded.

“Now that you have accepted the Truth, remain an agent of truth.” The congregation responded with renewed commitment to pursue truth through Christ alone.

The SCOAN Sunday Service: Prayerline Session (May 10, 2026)

“It is another wonderful morning in His presence,” Pastor Evelyn Joshua said as she joined the congregation for the service. She welcomed viewers from around the world and reminded them that distance was never a barrier to the move of God.

Encouraging congregants to open their hearts in faith, she assured them that the atmosphere of God’s presence was charged with healing, deliverance and restoration.

Pastor Evelyn Joshua

The woman of God prayed: “Father, let the power of Your spoken Word be enough for us, in the name of Jesus! Send forth Your Word to heal, save, deliver, guide and protect us, in the name of Jesus!

Father, set us free from every entanglement of satan and give us testimonies that will shame the devil and his works, in the name of Jesus Christ!”

Pastor Evelyn Joshua further urged the church to rely completely on God’s Word, declaring that every chain of affliction, setback and limitation must be broken by the authority in the name of Jesus Christ.

She encouraged the people to maintain an attitude of faith, knowing that God’s mercy is always available to all who call upon Him in sincerity and truth.

From different parts of the world, people came carrying burdens too heavy for human strength but never too heavy for Jesus Christ. Cases of bleeding, swollen legs, swollen belly, swollen jaw, leg ulcers, skin diseases, and countless other afflictions were brought before the Lord. As faith rose in the hearts of the people, fear and doubt gave way to quiet confidence in God’s power.

Expectant mothers committed the fruits of their wombs into God’s hands while standing on the promise of Exodus 23:26: “There shall nothing cast their young, nor be barren, in thy land: the number of thy days I will fulfil.”

One after another, Pastor Evelyn Joshua and The SCOAN Evangelists ministered healing, deliverance, and restoration in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.

The SCOAN Evangelists

Be it mental disorder, drug addiction, eye problem, heart disease, stroke, diabetes, gastritis, kidney failure, or high blood pressure, the power of God moved mightily through the Arena of Liberty. As anointed hands touched lives, evil spirits were exposed and expelled by the fire of the Holy Spirit.

Cries of freedom and songs of thanksgiving filled the atmosphere as countless lives encountered divine intervention. Indeed, the Spirit of the Living God took absolute control.

In the One-On-One Session, the evangelists speak with holy anger as they confront all stubborn demons! Thank You, Jesus Christ!

Evangelist James prayed: “You lying spirit speaking against my destiny, my future and my progress — Out, in the name of Jesus Christ!”

“Every chain connecting you to setback, disappointment and stagnation — be broken, in the name of Jesus!” Evangelist Joseph declared.

Pastor Evelyn Joshua

Pastor Evelyn Joshua then led the congregation in prophetic declarations: “Every power standing against your freedom, healing, breakthrough and salvation — be uprooted, in the name of Jesus Christ!

Every spirit that steals peace, destroys families and attacks destinies — Out, in the mighty name of Jesus! Receive freedom, healing, restoration, in the name of Jesus Christ!”

The woman of God extended prayers to viewers all over the world, declaring God’s intervention upon every home and situation connected by faith.

Prophet TB Joshua

Prophet T.B. Joshua, through a recorded prayer, reinforced the atmosphere of faith and victory: “Every spirit operating in your life contrary to the will of God — Out! Whatever satan has used to cage your destiny — be broken! Be healed, delivered, blessed, in the name of Jesus Christ!”
