The SCOAN Sunday Service: The SCOAN Choir
With God’s Word at 1 Corinthians 2:12 on their mind – “What we have received is not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, so that we may understand what God has freely given us” – the congregation assembled with penitent hearts and mouths ready to confess sins and praise the Lord for His enduring mercy. For the power to stay above sins, they besought the Holy Spirit to visit them. “O Holy Spirit, take more of me and give me more of You,” they prayed.
Determined to see the anointing work for them, they began by singing songs of worship that called down the Heavenly Host. It was a sure sign that their meditation had ascended to the Realm Above when many fell under the influence of the Comforter.
Pressing on, they declared their readiness to worship God alone in the Holy Of Holies, relying on the Blood of the Lamb and using worship as their weapon in the battle of life. In total surrender, then, they proclaimed, “I Have No Power of My Own!”
The SCOAN Sunday Service: Testimonies (April 19, 2026)
Now, His Hip Joint Is Healed!
“I give God all the glory for all He has done in my life,” Bright said at the start of his testimony.
Here is his testimony:
One morning in the year 2008, I have woken up with severe leg pain. “I went to an orthopaedic hospital, where it was suggested that I should have a hip-replacement surgery.
I did not take that option. “But I had been taking medications since that time. Two weeks ago, however, the problem became much more serious.
“I decided to come to the church last week, and the woman of God prayed for me.” Since that day, April 12, 2026, I have stopped feeling pain in his hip.
For advice, he told the people:
“seek God’s help over their problems”.
Delivered From 26 Years Of Addiction
It was on April 12, 2026 that Patrick parted ways with drinking and smoking. The 48-year-old had been in bondage for the last 26 years.
Here is his testimony:
“The older people around me used to drink and smoke all the time, so I thought it was normal. I had actually started to smoke and drink at age 22, investing all I had into the vice.
In February 2015, I lost my father and had to go to the village for the funeral. Refusing to take my mother’s advice not to drink while in the village,
I welcomed every drink and cigarette that came I was drinking during the burial rites. On returning to the city, I lost his job. “My woman also called off our wedding. With this situation, I sank further into addiction, with grave consequences for my health. At a point, doctors feared I heave been poisoned.
“But my mother never left me, “as she called The SCOAN Prayer Line while I lay down sick.” I had vomited two maggots during the prayer session over the phone.
Meanwhile, I had sold off personal possessions and assets in the course of feeding my vice. Having witnessed God’s power already, I agreed to come to The SCOAN for more prayer. “I felt the raw power of God inside my stomach and chest as the evangelist prayed for me, I received healing and deliverance for the glory of God.
For advice, he told the people:
“To avoid drugs and drink, and to take their case to God.”
Chronic Headache Gone In An Instant!
Fifty-six-year-old Catherine had been under the yoke of a chronic headache.
Here is her testimony:
“I also constantly suffered from stomach upset, Yet the doctors could not identify the cause of the issues. “I was losing weight and unable to sleep,”. Whenever I managed to sleep, I would be roused by nightmares. Consequently, My business suffered.
Having seen the testimonies of others on Emmanuel TV, I was encouraged to visit The SCOAN for prayer. “The evangelist reached for my head as he came to pray for me”. Today, now free from headaches and other afflictions, I can eat conveniently and go about My business.
For advice, she told the people:
“Embrace God, With a broad smile on his face, her son said, “My mother can now eat chicken again and she can walk freely.”
With God’s Help, Victory Gains Victory Over Bed-wetting!
Here is her testimony:
When I came for prayer on April 12, 2026, among the issues my life were bed-wetting, spirit of anger, evil attacks and family curse.
I had been bothered by my problems but always believed God would rescue me. The problem of bed-wetting had started just a year ago and had been a source of serious concern for the family.
Following prayer in The SCOAN, I had stopped bed-wetting and my other issues have vanished.
For advice, she told the people:
“To trust in God.”
A Spectacular Family Deliverance!
Mercy had grown up in her grandmother’s house, following the failure of her parents’ marriage. “We spent many years there until we were mature enough to move out,” Mercy began on April 19, 2026.
At work, a colleague who was constantly ill had asked her to visit The SCOAN on her behalf and get the Anointing Water. “I got the Anointing Water for her and used it myself.” That night, Mercy had a dream in which she was advised to find out about her family background. She did so, and discovered that her great grandmother was supposed to have been the custodian of a family idol.
Mercy’s grandmother and mother had also refused to serve the idol, hence the problems in the lineage. “In the family we couldn’t get married easily and divorce usually followed those who managed to marry.” In the cases of Mercy and one of her sisters, they were able to get married only after encountering God’s power.
Mercy also received further deliverance and healing after an evangelist prayed for her on April 12, 2026. “Since that day, my health has been restored and I no longer have visitations from the spirit husband”.
Mercy’s brother, Best, told of how he had taken to smoking and drinking 14 years ago after a strange dream encounter. “I became what I had never been before, disappointing clients and getting into trouble for failing to meet contract terms”. God really showed up for me here. He reminded the church,
“Faith is a weapon that the devil doesn’t want you to have.” Their mother, Christiana, also shared her testimony of healing from lumbar spondylosis. She demonstrated her healing by exercising her body in various ways.
For advice, They told the people:
“To trust in God for help”.
The SCOAN Sunday Service: Live By Faith
LISTEN TO THE SERMON TITLED: Live By Faith
“Thank You, Jesus, for being on our side,” Evangelist James said as he joined the church for the sermon, which he gave the simple but powerful title “Live By Faith”. For his proof text he read from Hebrews 11:1-7. He began by describing the Bible as “the chronicle of God’s love for His people” and “the greatest book on earth”, which is expected to be the standard for all Christians, who are necessarily new creatures. Believers must live by faith, he said, bearing in mind the examples of the forerunners. He noted that true biblical faith reshapes the believer’s life, helping them to respond to God uniquely.
Evangelist James gave three examples of how real faith in God can transform the believer’s life. First, it redirects and recaptures the believer’s act of worship. Second, it makes them fully obedient to God. Third, it produces total submission to God’s calling for their life.
Because faith is a conviction, he said, the true believer must put it into practice (James 2:14-16). Noting that obeying is putting faith into action, he warned the people thus: “Remember that knowledge is not the key; obedience is.” He therefore counselled against bothering about mockery by others when we are carrying out God’s seemingly laughable assignment. “Your duty is to obey God’s commands,” he insisted, while “God’s duty is to keep His promises.”
Looking only to God, the evangelist continued, will prevent the obedient servant from becoming frustrated and feeling defeated during the time of waiting. As such, he charged the people to take courage from the pathfinders in the journey of faith. In his words: “Faith is living in light of what God has said, resting in what He has done and entrusting the future to His care…. Leave your worry, trouble, panic for God.”

“In the presence of God there is fullness of joy and grace,” Pastor Evelyn Joshua noted once she entered the midst of the people.
Raising her face towards Heaven, the woman of God prayed: “Father, we draw near to You today to seek Your comfort as ever. We ask that You surround us with Your peace and joy. Father, touch our lives, touch our things and make us whole. Take our emptiness and fill us with Your strength. Almighty God, we ask You to speak to our hearts – Word of faith, healing, deliverance, love. Help us to live a new life in You. In the name of Jesus Christ, we pray!”
A Word On Prayer And Reading The Bible
Before the Prayer Line ministration commenced, Pastor Evelyn Joshua urged the people to pray always and to read their Bible regularly because God’s Spirit always reveals Himself in the Word. She explained that knowing God the more allows the believer to get rid of every sense of shame and guilt. In her words, “If you pray, talk to God, you will be connected in a more powerful way to Him.”
The SCOAN Sunday Service: Prayerline Session (April 19, 2026)
Alongside Pastor Evelyn Joshua at the Prayer Line, Evangelist Ope assured the people, “You will be healed, delivered and blessed today in Jesus’ name.”
From the first case to the last, the Master Surgeon revealed Himself during the ministration of prayers of healing, deliverance and breakthrough. Among the issues of the day were difficulty in walking, leg ulcers, swollen legs, fire burns, whitlow, cancer of the cervix, asthma, and skin disease.
Pastor Evelyn Joshua also prayed for women bearing ‘the heritage from the Lord’, casting out every affliction in their bodies as they await their due date.
Also ministering in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, The SCOAN Evangelists expelled foul spirits from the people, freeing them from sickness of every sort and opening up their paths for breakthrough.
The more the woman of God and the evangelists prayed, the more power descended from Heaven, exposing the root causes of issues in the people’s lives.
And as the evangelists commanded fire from Above during the One-On-One Session, every stubborn foul spirit fled – for the glory of the Lord!
SCOAN Sunday Service Mass Prayer (April 19, 2026)
The SCOAN Evangelists
“God Almighty is with us,” Evangelist Ope said at the start of the Mass Prayer Session. He told the people to ask for mercy.
Evangelist Ope urged the people to pray: “Thou Son Of David, by Your divine mercy and favour, every garment of mockery, shame, hardship, disappointment placed upon me – catch fire!”
“Whatever seed planted by the evil one in my life, family – Out by Holy Ghost Fire!” Evangelist James told the church to declare.
Evangelist Joseph prayed: “All spirits planting sickness in your body, poisoning your system – anywhere they are: Out by Holy Ghost Fire!”
At his turn, Evangelist Chisom asked the people to declare: “Every spirit in my life blocking my breakthrough, business – I command you: Out, in the name of Jesus!”

Pastor Evelyn Joshua prayed: “May the peace, glory, healing, deliverance of God not pass you by, in the name of Jesus! May every good thing begin to flourish in your life, in the name of Jesus! Every spirit of addiction – smoking, drunkenness, lust, lying – we command it out, in the name of Jesus! Every closed door to your happiness, victory, success – open, in the name of Jesus! All closed wombs – be open, in the name of Jesus! Be released from that bondage, that yoke, that cage of stagnation, never-do-well, in the name of Jesus!”
For the viewers, Pastor Evelyn Joshua prayed: “May the mercy, compassion, favour of God locate you, in the name of Jesus Christ! Every negative spirit that is causing trouble in your life – we command them to be gone today, in the name of Jesus Christ! Power of destruction, power that kills – we command them out, in the name of Jesus! Father, touch Your children for healing, in the name of Jesus!”
In a Mass Prayer video, Prophet TB Joshua decreed: “Every familiar spirit that has been tormenting your life – receive the presence of God! Holy Spirit, close the gap! Let there be light! I release you, in the name of Jesus! Whatever spirit that is causing you nightmares, failure, setback, barrenness – I curse them, in the name of Jesus!”
SCOAN Sunday Service: The Grace
“May the blessings you received today remain permanent, in Jesus name”.
