The SCOAN Sunday Service: The SCOAN Choir
Living in the present, God’s people gathered inside The SCOAN Auditorium for another Holy Ghost-powered Sunday Service on January 25, 2026
Before they went into the session of worship, they took a few minutes to say their morning prayers, asking for the forgiveness of their sins and calling on God’s Spirit to guide the desires of their hearts and the requests of their lips. Once the worship began, it didn’t take long for the atmosphere to be charged with heavenly energy.
Overcome by the anointing, many could be seen releasing tears from the depths of the soul and expelling everything the Lord had not put into them.
“This Is The Day The Lord Has Made!” they proclaimed. They went on: “Blessed Assurance/Jesus Is Mine!” The more they extolled the Creator of Heaven and Earth, the more He released His power to them. Indeed, every song from their lips produced deep impact for the ultimate fulfilling of purpose.
The SCOAN Sunday Service Testimonies (January 25, 2026)
Nurse Francisca Freed From Years Of Pain!
Here is her testimony:
For some time, I had been battling with difficulty in walking due to lumbar spondylosis. I had gone to my doctors, who prescribed medications and later gave me a lumbar corset.
But things weren’t getting better despite all of those interventions. The doctors then suggested surgery, which they said wasn’t guaranteed to be successful.
In faith, I took my case to God, coming to The SCOAN for prayer on January 18. My son had earlier come for prayers and received his healing, which boosted my own faith.
Since receiving my healing at the prayer line through a SCOAN evangelist, I have been leading a normal life again.
For advice, she told the people: “Run to God for solutions to your problems.”
A Grace-Filled Delivery For Grace!
On July 13, 2025 Grace was among those who presented themselves for the prayer of safe delivery.
Here is her testimony:
At some point in my pregnancy I started having severe pain from contractions. For many days I
had been unable to sleep, troubled by the severe contractions that were threatening my pregnancy.
My doctor tried all he could and eventually gave up on his efforts. He asked me to forget about the pregnancy and to plan for another one, my husband never gave up, however, as he stood on the believer’s authority.
Once he got the Anointing Water, he ministered it on me. That night I slept peacefully for the first time.
Thereafter, I came to The SCOAN for the prayer of safe delivery and went on to have a baby girl without any complications.
For advice, she told the people: “Always trust in God. ”
Livelihood Rescued As Barber Is Healed Of Leg Ulcer
Here is his testimony:
Sometime in 2020 I felt a sharp pinch in my ankle. Days later the pimpled spot became a sore. And I started to treat it. Many months afterwards, however, the sore refused to heal.
And panic set in for me, I couldn’t do my work anymore. My mother asked me to come to the village. However, nothing came out of the trip.
My brother then advised me come to The SCOAN for prayer. On June 19, 2022 I came for prayer as Pastor Evelyn Joshua ministered.
After the prayer, |I returned home and in a short while the ulcer sore healed completely.
For advice, He told the people: “Always turn to God for help at all times.”
Anointing Restores Priscilla To Vibrant Health!
Here is her testimony:
For the last four years I had been suffering from difficulty in walking due to arthritis. My situation had worsened after a bad fall last year.
As a worker in security, my job was at stake because I couldn’t put in my best. The situation was particularly concerning because I had just been promoted.
Not willing to be held down by a situation that was not God’s design for me, I took the bold step of visiting The SCOAN all the way from Kaduna State. Once the evangelist touched me, I felt a cold sensation all through my body.
For the first time in a long while, I slept peacefully – all my pain gone! It was clear that divine vitality now running through me.
For advice, she told the people: “Jesus Christ will also do it for you.”
By Divine Mercy, Michael Breaks Free From Addiction And Anger!
On January 18, 2026, among the confessions made by the demon in Michael were that it made him smoke, do drugs, get angry easily and lose focus in his education.
Here is his testimony:
I had started smoking after visiting friends just after secondary school. When I got to university, I graduated into more vice, smoking not just cigarettes but also harder drugs.
I was looking for a way to numb the pain of my father’s death. I joined a gang of party lovers who believed in having fun all the time.
During a night outing, I drank so much that I started having seizures. My friends thought I was going to die, so they ran away. In spite of that dangerous episode, I continued smoking and drinking, not caring about my life.
One day, I got into an argument with my younger sister. I was hitting her so violently that my mother could only call the Emmanuel TV Prayer Line for help. I only agreed to speak with the evangelists on the Prayer Line after calming down.
It was at this point that I understood I needed divine help. To the glory of God, since the anointed touch of January 18, I have become relaxed, friendly and God-fearing.
Confirming the testimony, Michael’s mother said, “God has given me back my son.” She urged all to open up themselves to God’s Spirit.
For advice, they told the people: “Youth avoid drugs and embrace God.”
SCOAN Sunday Service: Live In The Present
LISTEN TO THE SERMON TITLED: LIVE IN THE PRESENT
Following the powerful testimonies, The Word sharer for the day was Evangelist Chisom, who read from Matthew 6:34, 1 Corinthians 10:13 and Matthew 6:11 before announcing his sermon title as “Live In The Present”.
It was a message delivered in simple yet powerful words, echoing the legacy of God’s servant Prophet TB Joshua. He noted that God has already provided Christians the resources for each day’s needs and they only have to utilise those resources for the day’s joy.
This, he said, means making the best of our daily supply. To live in that manner is therefore to do one’s best at the present moment so that one can be best positioned for the next.
Evangelist Chisom further noted that devoted Christians are empowered to overcome whatever temptation comes up on any day; as such, they are not to worry, for how they live in the present determines the quality of their future.
On that score, he counselled the faithful to fight for their own survival only in ways that avoid harming others and that do away with the past. “Your past is over,” he insisted, “and your future belongs to God.”
The preacher also cautioned against revenge, which never brings satisfaction but puts the vengeance seeker “in a torture chamber”. Those who worry, he said, hinder their “ability to think, act and exercise faith in the present,” causing them to be unable “to differentiate between God’s supply and satan’s bait”.
Before concluding, the evangelist charged the people to seek true contentment in Jesus Christ while planning for the future with God’s help.
The SCOAN Sunday Service: Healing Session
With a song, Pastor Evelyn Joshua joined congregants for the Prayer Line ministration.
She prayed: “Father Lord, we bless Your Holy name. Thank You for today, thank You for the grace to be called Your own. Father, we thank You for including us in Your inheritance. Holy Spirit, we appreciate Your presence in every move we make and in every step we take. Almighty God, we ask that You help us to continue to come to You with worship, love and true desire to know You the more.
Father Lord God Almighty, in our darkest moment you were our shining light. In our lowest point, You are our Hope and in our weakness, You comfort and strengthen us. Who is like You in all the earth? From generation to generations, your faithfulness remains the same, O Lord! Father, we are here again today; let the floodgate of Heaven be opened and let Your healing, deliverance, blessing power rain on us like never before. In the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.”
Engaging the congregation before commencing the Prayer Line ministration, Pastor Evelyn Joshua asked what makes one a Christian. Referring to 1 John 4:18, she said: “God’s Word can set you free from fear because it gives you hope.
” She therefore urged the people to stop living in fear and to seek the experience of God’s perfect love, which brings peace and security.
At the Prayer Line, Pastor Evelyn Joshua reminded the people: “The only thing that can hinder you from receiving today is fear; don’t let doubt deny you of your blessing.”
The woman of God then began to minister prayers of healing and deliverance to various cases of affliction. Among the cases were rectal cancer, ulcers, skin disease, mental disorder, difficulty in breathing, difficulty in walking, and epilepsy.
As expectant mothers received prayer in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, they stayed mindful of God’s Word at Exodus 23:26 – “None shall miscarry or be barren in your land; I will fulfill the number of your days.”
Pastor Evelyn Joshua & The SCOAN Evangelists
Standing on the believer’s authority, Pastor Evelyn Joshua and The SCOAN Evangelists continued to declare the anointing upon cases of diabetes, partial stroke, low sperm count, low blood pressure, prostate enlargement, appendicitis, waist pain, alcohol addiction, lower abdominal pain, tonsillitis, piles, drug addiction, and anaemia. As the Word soaked in faith and the Spirit issues forth, miracles of healing and deliverance happen in Jesus’ name!
The raw power of God was also in operation as the faculties of His servants continued to be used to bring healing, deliverance and breakthrough for the ultimate salvation of souls.
And during the One-On-One session, the evangelists commanded: “Out, in the name of Jesus!” And so were the foundations of stubborn problems shattered for the glory of the Lord!
SCOAN Sunday Service Mass Prayer (January 25, 2025)
Pastor Evelyn Joshua
“Get ready to pray and receive answers to your prayers,” Pastor Evelyn Joshua told the congregation. She added, “Take Your stand in the Word Of God.”
Pastor Evelyn Joshua fired the first salvo: “Every power, every chain that binds your legs and hands to where you do not belong – be loosed, in the name of Jesus! Every unfriendly friend tormenting your life – we command them to be broken, in the name of Jesus! Every limitation that has been passed to your life through ancestral connection – be broken, in the name of Jesus!”
She continued: “Every wickedness done to your life, job, career, destiny – we command it to be reversed, in the name of Jesus! Every unfriendly friend around you, causing you trouble, delay, heartache, nightmare – we command them to be exposed, in the name of Jesus! Receive your freedom, healing, deliverance, in the name of Jesus!”
Pastor Evelyn Joshua asked viewers all over the world to pray: “Father, enlarge my faith to believe in the impossible.” She prayed for them: “Every impossibility in the lives of Your children shall be possible today, in the name of Jesus! Release them from every financial captivity, in the name of Jesus! Father, honour the works of their hands, in the name of Jesus!”
The SCOAN Evangelists
Evangelist Ope prayed: “Every spirit from the father’s side, from the mother’s side, causing you destruction, causing you discouragement, causing you rising and falling – out, by the fire of the Holy Ghost!”
“You spirit – anywhere you are in the East, West, South, North, troubling my life – out, in the name of Jesus!” Evangelist Chisom asked the people to pray
Taking over, Evangelist James asked the church to decree: “You sickness, you disease troubling my body – I command you in the name of Jesus: Out!”
For the people Evangelist Joseph declared: “All demonic veils of shame, poverty, limitation, setbacks blocking your progress, finances – I command you in the name of Jesus: Out!”
Prophet TB Joshua
Finally, in a Mass Prayer video, Prophet TB Joshua commanded: “Whatever spirit that hinders – Out, in the name of Jesus! In the name of Jesus, walk in the spirit! In the name of Jesus, I release you! Whatever it is in your blood, kidneys, organs – out right now!”
SCOAN Sunday Service: The Grace
