SCOAN Thanksgiving Service 2025

SCOAN Thanksgiving Service 2025 Kick-Off

Surely, it was the day that the Lord had made! Assembled from all over the world, the people rejoiced for yet another chance to celebrate Yahweh with singing, dancing and giving. Over them the Creator had kept watch from January to December 2025 – in their Forward-Looking Year.

On their minds were bits of Scripture such as Psalm 107:1, Psalm 7:17, 1 Thessalonians 5:18, Philippians 4:6, Colossians 3:15, Colossians 4:2, Psalm 28:7, Hebrews 13:15, Psalm 69:30 and 1 Chronicles 16:34 – all of them Bible passages urging God’s own to praise Him at all times.

Event anchors Osarume and Vimbai deftly built up a crescendo of excitement as they teased out expectations from some of the thanksgivers.

Opening Prayer, Welcome Address, and Bible Reading

Before saying the opening prayer in English and French, Mr. Patrick Bashengezi from Congo cited Psalm 107:1. He blessed the Lord for the gift of His church and for the thriving legacy of The TB Joshua Ministries under the Holy Ghost-inspired leadership of Pastor Evelyn Joshua – The Woman in The Synagogue.

For the welcome address, Dr. David Ogong from Uganda stepped up, alongside his wife, taking the moment to thank everyone for their support.

Expectedly, congregants’ voices of worship and praise pierced the atmosphere in a gathering where everyone was in their ‘Sunday best’ – or Year’s best’.

SCOAN Thanksgiving Service 2025: Endless Gratitude

“A beautiful morning to you all,” Pastor Evelyn Joshua greeted.

She explained her speech’s purpose, saying, “I give account to God, not man, to whom all glory belongs.”

She noted that The SCOAN had experienced “undeniable growth both spiritually and physically”. Pastor Evelyn Joshua reminded the people that the best is always yet to come in the ministry of Prophet TB Joshua. In closing her speech, she prayed for the people: “May the grace of the Lord be with you.”
