With God’s Word at Ephesians 2:4-5 on their minds, congregants gathered in The Arena Of Liberty on September 7, 2025 to thank the Creator yet again for His mercy and love.
They didn’t take the forgiveness of their sins for granted, so they prayed that the Lord keep them focused on His path. As the worship session started, with voices loud and unmistakable, they reaffirmed their willingness to be worthy vessels in the Vineyard. “I Give Myself Away So You Can Use Me,” they pledged.
Next, they declared their love for the Lord as they sang many songs extolling Jehovah. With the atmosphere saturated with heavenly presences, God’s Word penetrated the people’s souls as the fire of the Holy Ghost brought forth the incredible.

Kingsley Walks Freely Again!
For quite a while, I have been suffering from difficulty in walking and shoulder pain.
As the days went by, the problem persisted even as doctors could not help me. They said they couldn’t find anything wrong with me. Tired of finding no solution, I made my way to The SCOAN on August 31, 2025.
As the woman of God prayed for me, my body started vibrating.
Seconds later, I stood up and began walking freely.

Stephen Moves From Darkness To Light!
I have frustrated his family!” boasted the demon in Stephen during the One-On-One session of the service of August 31, 2025.
I had been initiated to the masquerade cult when I turned 15 years old of which I ate the food offered to the masquerades.
After some time, I left for the city and did an apprenticeship that later opened doors to international trade. I was helping other people financially and was happy about it.
But my masquerade past caught up with me. I started seeing masquerades in my dream and finding myself in my village home and school. With those dreams came financial troubles, especially after I got married.
My health was also affected. My wife started dreaming about the same masquerades and illness took over our family, including my children.
At this point, people turned their backs against me, including those I had helped. A friend took me to a spiritualist, who, ironically, told me I needed to go to God in prayer. Realising that I needed God, I made my way to The SCOAN in 2012.
God reopened my wife’s womb and she had three more babies after we prayed in The SCOAN and returned home with the Anointing Water. Still, the devil continued to torment me.
I lost everything and fell at the mercy of my wife and in-laws. It was an in-law of mine, in fact, that had raised the funds for me to return to The SCOAN, where I received my deliverance.
I had a few confirmatory dreams about my restoration to light. No more idol worshipping in my family. My wife also had her own deliverance dreams.

Akioye Fractured Arm Healed In Record Time!
On December 1, 2024, little Akioye had broken his arm at school, during exams.
On being informed, I swung into action and took him to hospital. The doctors told us it would take a full year for the arm to heal properly. I devoted most of my time to care for him at home. Then, I decided to bring him to church and the Lord heard our prayer, healing my son’s arm in record time.
“I no longer feel pain,” said Akioye.

Addiction Ends As Wisdom Meets Jesus Christ
It was on August 24, 2025 that I broke free from smoking and drug addiction.
I had a troubled childhood, battered by poverty and neglect and hoped to forget my childhood trauma by smoking it away. During this time, I smoked so much hemp and took so many dangerous drugs that brought shame to me and my family.
I was always misbehaving in public. But my story changed after the prayer of deliverance in The SCOAN.

Akinola Healed Of Ulcerous Injuries
I had suffered electrical burns in his hands while working on a panel. An explosion had thrown me off the ladder on which I had been working.
People were shocked, thinking the worst had happened to me. Although I got treatment for some time, my injuries refused to heal.
Pus started coming out of the injuries and they became smelly. Helped at home by my wife and unable to work, I felt no little frustration as I lay helpless.
I then made my way to the church. As the woman of God prayed for me, I felt instant relief.
Since receiving prayer on August 25, 2024 and retuning home with the Anointing Water, I had recovered fully and returned to work.

Kelvin Delivered From Drug Addiction
During the deliverance session of the service of August 31, 2025, the demon in Kelvin confessed to causing many issues in his life, including anger, hatred, denial, failure and poverty.
In a dream, I saw myself outrunning several animals, including lions, scorpions and snakes.
However, before the dream ended, a snake jumped in front of me and bit me above the ankle. I woke up feeling the snake bite and the leg started to rot afterwards and became extremely stubborn right after that.
I attended seven secondary schools in six years. Along the line, I got addicted to drugs. I gave a business ideas to a Hawaii-based woman who subsequently offered to bring him over to the US, sponsoring his education up to 50,000 dollars per semester. But I lost that opportunity because I smoked himself senseless on the way to my visa interview.
Again, I linked up with someone in the Nigerian oil industry. I was to be making over a billion naira every fortnight, but I lost the opportunity to drug addiction. I got deeper into drug addiction, yet I kept finding a way to make money.
Then I got into a relationship with a woman who had been sent to me by ‘Asmodius’, the demon that had been assigned against my life.
Once I slept with the woman, I lost everything and sold off my possessions. In all of that time, however, my parents never gave up on me. They brought me to church and the Spirit of the Lord exposed the demon in me through one of the evangelists. Now I just want to be in God’s presence.
Come close to God and Stay away from drugs.
The SCOAN Sunday Service: Don’t Dodge It – Face It
Evangelist Ope’s message, titled “Don’t Dodge It – Face It”, was anchored on John 16:33, Acts 20:24 and 2 Corinthians 4:8-11. He noted that life is a war zone where there is a price for every prize and a cost for every course. He was emphatic in declaring that “Nothing good in this world is free.”
To get good things, he went on, one must stay disciplined physically and spiritually. Given that good things never come easy, he reasoned, we are to expect trouble in the race of life, as it was the case with Job, David and other people of faith. And because trouble does not require any invitation before it comes, the evangelist charged the church to face it rather than dodge it.
Your Adversity; Your Strength
The preacher therefore encouraged the church to view adversity as a source of strength, courage and self-discovery rather than seeing challenges, tests and trials as things to run away from. He charged the people not to be ashamed of their challenges since everyone faces adversity whether secretly or openly.
God’s help, he said, is always available, as Apostle Paul states in Philippians 4:13. In the evangelist’s words: “We desire direction from God but we hate to be rejected, whereas no rejection, no direction…. We desire spiritual tonic but hate or run away from persecution, whereas persecution is a tonic to our spiritual life and anointing.”
Teaching further, Evangelist Ope explained that dodging battles is equal to dodging greatness, promotion and victory. He therefore counselled the people to exercise faith at all times, no matter the pressure of the moment.
Stressing the importance of banishing fear and self-pity, he described tests and trials as the soil in which faith flourishes. Other passages for the sermon were Romans 8:28, Psalm 27, Isaiah 43:2, 2 Timothy 1:7, 1 Samuel 30:5-6 and Zechariah 4:7.
SCOAN Sunday Service Encouraging Word
“Give God a wonderful praise offering,” Pastor Evelyn Joshua told congregants as she joined them for the service.
Raising her face to Heaven, Pastor Evelyn Joshua prayed:
“Father Lord, we bless Your Holy name. We thank You for this wonderful day. We thank You for who You are. Thank You for Your plan and purpose for it. O Lord God Almighty, we have seated in Your presence in anticipation of what You alone can do in our lives. Father Jesus, we ask You to give us a renewed spirit.
Father, give us the anointing to wash off every demonic pronouncement over our lives – demonic pronouncements in which the accuser, satan, accuses us. Almighty God, set us free and count us worthy to participate in Your grace today, in the name of Jesus Christ. Father, as we praise and worship you, let today favour us. In Jesus Christ’s name, we pray!”
The SCOAN Sunday Service Prayer Line Section
Following Matthew 18:20, where Jesus Christ says, “For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them,” Pastor Evelyn Joshua and The SCOAN Evangelists moved in the power of the Holy Spirit, laying hands anointed for healing, deliverance and breakthrough on the people.
Healing Session
Among those at the Prayer Line were people suffering from neck stiffness, difficulty in walking, swollen belly, breast lumps, difficulty in breathing, nasopharyngeal cancer, asthma, and alcohol addiction. As the woman of God prophesied healing upon the people, instant relief manifested.
Pregnant women also presented their petitions before Master Surgeon Jesus Christ, who took away their worries in an instant. “Thank You, Jesus!” each woman exclaimed as she took to her feet.
Laying Of Hands Session
As God’s light shone through the atmosphere during the Laying Of Hands session, many more people were impacted by power that knows no boundaries.
One-On-One session
Finally, during the One-On-One session, The SCOAN Evangelists stood on the believer’s authority to expel every stubborn demon. “No hiding place for you!” they declared. Glory be to Jesus Christ!
SCOAN Sunday Service Mass Prayer (September 07, 2025)
Pastor Evelyn Joshua
“Get prepared to talk to God; get ready for change – change from victim to victor,” Pastor Evelyn Joshua told the church.
Pastor Evelyn Joshua prayed:
“Whatever bondage you may be right now – receive your deliverance, in the name of Jesus! Whatever trouble you may be facing right now – receive your freedom, in the name of Jesus Christ! Receive your freedom from emotional torture, financial oppression, in the name of Jesus! Receive your freedom from mental stress, imprisonment, in the name of Jesus Christ!”
The woman of God continued:
“Whatever that problem may be in your life – I dip you into the Blood of Jesus Christ! I say, ‘Be healed, cleansed, purified, washed with the Blood of Jesus!’ Whatever that holds you in bondage that does not want you to move forward – begin to rebuke it right now, in the name of Jesus Christ!”
Pastor Evelyn Joshua:
“Any negative utterances spoken against your life, business, career, destiny – we command them to be nullified, in the name of Jesus Christ! Any bad report – we command them to be torn today, in the name of Jesus! Any negative identity – may it be torn today, in the name of Jesus! Receive your freedom! Any garment of shame, disgrace, failure, sorrow in your life – I command it to be torn, in the name of Jesus Christ! Stand in the liberty that God has given to you, in the name of Jesus!”
Prayer for Viewers
Turning to viewers all over the world, Pastor Evelyn Joshua prayed: “Any power placing limitations on your life in the form of fear – we command it to be destroyed today, in the name of Jesus! Any authority in high places placing limitations on your life today – be destroyed, in the name of Jesus! Any weapon of fear fashioned against you – we command it to be paralysed, in the name of Jesus! God will prosper the work of your hands, in the name of Jesus!”
The SCOAN Evangelists
Evangelist James asked congregants to pray: “You demon, you unclean spirit, you family idol operating in my life, I command you: Out, in the name of Jesus!”
Next, Evangelist Ope told them to decree: “You spirit of wickedness tormenting my family, my children – Out, by the fire of the Holy Ghost!”
Evangelist Joseph prayed for the people: “All spirits of affliction attacking your health – Out, by the fire of the Holy Ghost! He also asked the congregation to say: “You sickness in my bones, kidneys, lungs – I order you: Out, in the name of Jesus!”
On his part, Evangelist Chisom charged the people to pray: “You spirit, anywhere you are tormenting my business – I command you out, in the name of Jesus!”
Prophet TB Joshua
In a Mass Prayer video, Prophet TB Joshua declared: “I say to your spirit, ‘Be freed, in the name of Jesus!’ I release your spirit, in the name of Jesus! Every familiar spirit – quit, in the name of Jesus! At the command of Jesus Christ, I order all affliction in your blood: Out!”
