But this one now carries UN out of the letters I’m seeing...”

On Sunday 26th July, 2009, Prophet T.B. Joshua revealed a specific day of the week that people should pray and fast. This is what he said:

“Wednesday of the week, hold this and pray, fast”.

A few weeks later, on Sunday 9th August, Prophet T.B. Joshua gave this prophecy.

But this one now carries UN out of the letters I’m seeing.

Two weeks later, on Sunday 23rd August 2009, Prophet T.B. Joshua called on the congregation and viewers worldwide to fast and pray on a specific date. This is what he said during the first service:
In Jesus Christ’s name we pray. Fast and pray, on the 2nd of next month. On the 2nd of next month. On the 2nd of next month. In the 2nd service, I’ll put more light. Father, we need Your intervention, in Jesus Christ’s name. Thank You, Lord. On the same day during the second Sunday service, he said, “Remember, next month on the 2nd. I asked you to observe it and fast and pray”.

In precise confirmation of the prophet’s words, on Wednesday, the 2nd September 2009, the 2nd day of the next month, a powerful 7.0-magnitude earthquake shook the nation of Indonesia.
The quake struck shortly before 3 p.m. (4 a.m. ET) Wednesday. Its epicenter was located offshore about 190 kilometers (120 miles) southeast of Jakarta, according the U.S. Geological Survey. The center was about 50 kilometers (31 miles) deep. A tsunami watch went into effect but quickly expired.
The brunt of the temblor struck the West Java province, including Cianjur, located about 80 kilometers (50 miles) southeast of Jakarta. The quake also damaged buildings and cut off electricity to Tasikmalaya, a mountainous city about 115 kilometers (70 miles) northeast of the epicenter, according to a witness named Maya. Residents panicked when the quake struck, running into the streets where they stayed hours later -- fearing an aftershock.
The earthquake hit the Island of Java, Indonesia on the exact day that PTBJ had prophesied – Wednesday of the week.

Let’s now recall the specific date of the month Prophet T.B. Joshua specified in the prophecy. In Jesus Christ’s name we pray. Fast and pray, on the 2nd of next month. On the 2nd of next month. On the 2nd of next month. In the 2nd service, I’ll put more light.

Notice how many times the prophet mentions the exact date of the month the prophecy concerns – 3 times - the 2nd of next month. And again, the same day in the second service, he makes mention of it again - for a fourth time.

Father, we need Your intervention, in Jesus Christ’s name. Thank You, Lord. 23rd August 2009 2nd service
Remember, next month on the 2nd I asked you to observe it and fast and pray.

Indeed the earthquake struck on the 2nd of September, the 2nd day of the next month just as Prophet T.B. Joshua had prophesied.

As the ground opened, many people sunk under the landslides caused by the earthquake and many buildings collapsed. A landslide buried at least 11 homes in Cianjur. Those trapped in Cianjur, on the island of Java, have showed no signs of life since the 7.0-magnitude quake shook the region Wednesday.

Just as Prophet TB Joshua had said, “I’m seeing what has happened in the past”, Indonesia is no stranger to major earthquakes. It is located on the "Ring of Fire," an arc of fault lines circling the Pacific Basin that is prone to frequent earthquakes and volcanic eruptions.

Due to the magnitude of the damage caused by the earthquake, the United Nations universally known as the UN took part in an emergency assessment mission on the Indonesian island of Java. The UN News centre reported:

“UN team surveys aftermath of Indonesia’s lethal earthquake” Rescue teams in West Java, Indonesia, one day after the magnitude 7.0 quake struck. 3 September 2009 – As a United Nations team today assessed emergency relief needs in the aftermath of the massive earthquake that struck Indonesia, local authorities said that the death toll has climbed to 57 and more than 3,000 people have been forced from their homes.

Another 42 people are missing and feared buried following a landslide in Cianjur district and almost 24,000 houses were either totally or partially damaged in yesterday’s earthquake, with some 367 schools and 353 places of worship in West Java also affected, according to the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA).
A team of 10 UN officials from various agencies were dispatched today to the areas most affected by the earthquake, which measures about 7.3 on the Richter scale when it struck the Tasikmalaya district of West Java.

The letters that the Prophet specified, UN clearly symbolizes The UN – the United Nations –
The international organization of independent states formed in 1945 to promote international peace and security. The UN assessment team indeed visited the sites affected by the Indonesian earthquake.

We pray for the nation of Indonesia, her President, her citizens and all those affected by the earthquake, that they would rely on God’s strength. We have no sufficient strength of our own. Our natural courage is as perfect cowardice, our natural strength as perfect weakness. All our sufficiency is of God. In His strength, we must go forth and go on. We continue to pray for God’s intervention in the affairs of this nation.
