“A flag of a country that I told you I saw outside and the rain was falling. Pray and pray. What will make the flag to be the one to cover the coffin? This is what I am seeing. Where? Which country?”

On Sunday 30th May, 2009 during the live service at the SCOAN, broadcast on Emmanuel TV, Prophet TB Joshua delivered a prophetic message concerning a flag of a country. This is what he said:  
 “Pray. There is rain and the flag is outside and the rain falls on the flag. What is rain? And what is the meaning of rain falling on the flag?”

A couple of weeks later on Sunday the 14th June 2009, Prophet TB Joshua prophesied again concerning the same flag. These were his words:

“A flag of a country that I told you I saw outside and the rain was falling. Pray and pray. What will make the flag to be the one to cover the coffin? This is what I am seeing. Where? Which country?”

The following month on Sunday 12th July, 2009, he mentioned the flag a third time.
“ I repeat again – I saw a flag and the flag was brought down and I said we should pray. I’m still seeing the same flag, the same colour, the same place. I’m still seeing it. It’s still…
So, it’s… What is happening? So, we pray.”

A week later on Sunday 19th July, 2009, during the live service, the prophet mentioned the flag for the fourth and final time. He said:
“I told you about the flag. I repeat again. I think after today, I may not mention that flag again. I’m seeing a flag. The flag that is being pulled down. It was in the middle.”

On the night of Tuesday 25th August 2009, news broke that one of the most influential senators in history, US Senator Edward Kennedy, had died following a year long battle with brain cancer. The news was met with grief throughout the United States Of America and President Barack Obama issued a presidential proclamation ordering that US flags around the world fly at half mast in honour of Senator Edward Kennedy. On Thursday 27th August, 2009, the coffin of Senator Kennedy draped in the American flag was escorted through the streets of Boston where it finally halted at the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library. Throughout Thursday and Friday, an estimated 45,000 people filed past the Democratic legend's flag-draped coffin. On Saturday morning, despite driving rain, thousands lined the streets of Boston as the coffin was escorted to the Basilica where the funeral took place.

Recall the words of Prophet TB Joshua about a flag being brought down:
I told you about the flag. I repeat again. I think after today, I may not mention that flag again. I’m seeing a flag. The flag that is being pulled down. It was in the middle.

Remember the words of Prophet TB Joshua about a flag of a country covering a coffin:
What will make the flag to be the one to cover the coffin? This is what I am seeing. Where? Which country? 

As Prophet T.B. Joshua said, “What will make a flag to cover a coffin?” Only the death of a very significant person in that nation. The death of Senator Kennedy touched the entire nation of the USA. An estimated 45,000 people walked past his coffin draped in the US flag to pay their respects to a man who spent his life in public service and whose name in the USA became synonymous with liberalism for an entire generation.

A military honour guard carried the flag-draped coffin into the church as steady rain fell. It was a grey Saturday that matched the solemn mood at a Boston church packed with mourners.

In a tribute to Kennedy’s faith, the Reverend J. Donald Monan said that the late senator’s “zealously private” life of faith and prayer “held the secret to the extraordinary public life of compassion and service.” On the four separate occasions where the man of God referred to the prophecy, the flag that was shown to Prophet TB Joshua in the vision was the flag of the USA, the nation that Senator Kennedy had served so faithfully for 48 years.  

I’m still seeing the same flag, the same colour, the same place. I’m still seeing it. It’s still… So, it’s… What is happening? So, we pray.
In the light of Senator Kennedy’s legendry life of public service, we give thanks to God for his life, which he spent in serving others. As Prophet T.B. Joshua says, “We make a living by what we get; we make a life by what we give”.  

We at Emmanuel TV and The Synagogue, Church Of All Nations thank God for this prophetic revelation and pray for the wife, children, family and friends of late Senator Kennedy and all those grieved by this tragic loss, that God would send His loving aid to strengthen and comfort them.
